The Science DURA® VCT is built upon the TAF133® technology which incorporates a hybrid of inorganic micro-bonding polymers and binders that deposit micro-dispersions into the voids of the VCT which chemically cure and cross-link to the substrate. The benefit: extreme durability, sustainability, and lowered maintenance costs.
The application of each coated layer will bond to itself thereby eliminating the need to strip between applications. Since each application is only 3u - 5u (u=microns) most applications will only require (2) two coats. An additional third coat may be desired on certain floor surfaces.
